We are a nation of fish lovers, but we eat more fish in restaurants than we do at home. Fish is fast to prepare and cook, fabulous to eat and a healthy option too! There is no need to be phased by fish. Together we
will be demystifying any myths that fish is complicated.
We will be covering what to look for when buying fish, which preparations are best left to your fishmonger (the messy ones such as scaling and gutting!) Moving on to filleting and skinning round flat fish, as well as going over some skills for preparing shell fish.
We will also be looking at sauces to serve with our fabulous fresh fish, before the frenzy of fish cooking begins! Finally we will sit back and relax with a glass of champagne and savour our symphony of fish!
