Taste of Thailand

Thailand ‘the Land of Smiles’ where the people are warm, friendly and passionate about their food. Combining influences from several Eastern Cuisines, the heat from Szechuan Chinese, the tropical flavours of Malaysia, the creamy coconut sauces of Southern India and the aromatic spices of Arabian food.


When we think of the classic ingredients used in Thai food such as chillies, lemon grass, fish sauce, limes, coconut milk and palm sugar, we see that they represent the hot, sweet, sour and salty elements of this unique cuisine. It is a paradox that the combination of these vastly differing ingredients produces dishes of perfect harmony.


On this exciting Hands-on day, we will look at the ingredients used in Thai Cookery and make some delicious curry pastes, which we will incorporate in our mouth-watering menu of Thai Cuisine. Using various preparations and cooking techniques, with an emphasis on simple but stylish separation, we will produce a Tantalizing Thai Feast! A day not to be missed!
