A Taste of the Orient

Join us on our journey through China and Thailand as we bring the delights of the Orient closer to home. With an explosion of flavours, textures and temperatures we will be exciting our taste buds with delicious appetizers, healthy and quick to prepare stir fry dishes, Cantonese and Thai classic favourites, scrumptious side dishes and sweet treats to savour.....

    We will be cooking dishes from Thailand ‘The Land of Smiles’ where the people are warm, friendly and passionate about their food.  Combining influences from several Eastern Cuisines, the heat from Szechuan Chinese, the tropical flavours of Malaysia, the creamy coconut sauces of Southern India and the spices of Arabian food. When we think of the classic ingredients used in Thai food such as chillies, lemon grass, fish sauce, limes, coconut milk and palm sugar, we see that they represent the hot, sweet, sour and salty elements of this unique cuisine.
     
    We will also be cooking Cantonese dishes that we are familiar with from Chinese Restaurants here and also the spicy dishes from the Szechuan mmmm………
